Re-time a finished film and replace one sequence
Result — Extended 15s to 21s by re-timing rather than stretching, with the ball pit replaced by a slow physical assembly.
When to reach for this
The pattern for **revising a finished motion piece without rebuilding it**. The
You are revising a finished motion graphic. Work in your current working directory. If you find you cannot write files for any reason, stop and report that rather than attempting any workaround. --- THEN the task: REVISE the finished 15-second Nazadi teaser in this directory into a **slower 21-second cut with a completely new ball pit treatment**. `index.html` is your existing finished composition — the 15s film. A read-only backup of it is at `index-v1.html`. Work in `index.html`. Do not rebuild from scratch: this is a re-time plus one replaced sequence, preserving the existing graphic language, palette and type. Read `/home/ubuntu/clients/nazadi/NAZADI-REVISION-2.md` IN FULL and follow it exactly. It **supersedes the beat sheet** in `NAZADI-BRIEF.md`. Everything else in that brief — palette, registers, type stack, hard constraints, verification gate — still applies unchanged. Re-read both if you need to. **Note 1 — ball pit, new treatment.** The current ball pit snaps into place as a finished graphic. Replace it with a **slow physical assembly**: 24–30 balls dropping under gravity, each settling with a real secondary bounce, staggered 60–90 ms apart, packing organically against each other (uneven surface, never a neat grid), a few rolling a short distance before resting. The fill should take **~2.6–3.2 s**. This is the emotional core of the rentals arm — it must feel physical, weighty and unhurried, the opposite of the rest of the film. **Note 2 — slower pace.** Extend from 15.0 s to **21.0 s / 630 frames @ 30fps**. **Re-time, do not stretch.** New windows: HOOK 0.00–3.20 · DOOR ONE 3.20–7.40 · DOOR TWO 7.40–12.40 · THE NEWS 12.40–16.60 · CTA 16.60–21.00 (settle ~19.6, hold clean). Softer eases (`power2.out` / `sine.inOut`), at most two hard accents in the whole film, and stagger every group arrival by 90–150 ms. **Add nothing new** — the change is time, not material. HARD RULES: no photography, no stock, no generated images — vector/graphic form only. Fonts and GSAP are vendored locally; there is no network at render time. No pure `#000000` anywhere. All critical type inside y 240–1450. Deterministic logic only — no `Date.now()`, no `Math.random()`. Price, date, name-plate copy and URL stay clearly-marked single-node placeholders; do not invent a domain. DONE WHEN, verified by you: `npm run check` reports 0 errors; `ffprobe` reports **1080x1920 · 30fps · 630 frames · 21.000000s**; 0 pure-black pixels in a sampled scan; the ball pit assembly occupies ~2.6–3.2 s and is visibly staggered ball-by-ball. Report the MP4 path, your beat timings as actually rendered, and your favourite detail.
